The Coach House is an old flint and brick cottage on a quiet side street, close to the centre of Castle Acre - a conservation village with many historical buildings and sites. Places to visit include the Priory ruins, 11th century Castle ruins, medieval Church, and the natural beauty of the River Nar, Peddar's Way and nearby coast and forest. Click here for a local map. Although the cottage is ideal for two, the accommodation can comfortably sleep up to four, and is extremely well equipped. The Outside: the cottage has a secluded and pretty garden for guests' use, with patio and barbecue. It benefits from off street parking and the use of bicycles. |

Castle Acre has 2 pubs, post office, tea rooms and shops and is centrally situated for visiting many of Norfolk's attractions: Royal Sandringham, Houghton Hall, and Holkham Hall, the City of Norwich and town of King's Lynn, all steeped in history. Others may prefer to head for the many beaches which include the North Norfolk beach of Old Hunstanton. Wells-next-the-Sea is a must for sailors and there are a number of golf clubs, arts and crafts centres, restaurants etc. throughout West Norfolk.
