Willow Cottage was built in the early 1700's and retains many original features, including the inglenook fireplace and beamed ceilings.

We are ideally situated in the village for all local amenities. There are two traditional English pubs within easy walking distance, they both serve good food, wine and ale every evening.

The castle and cluniac priory are a short walk away in either direction, both are maintained by English heritage and a site not to be missed. The River Nar, a Rainbow Trout river is only a 10-minute walk away and there are several short walks, which are described in the books we have available in the tearooms. We are situated at the intersection of the Peddars way and Nar valley walk.

The beautiful attractions of Sandringham, Holkham Hall, Houghton Hall, the unspoilt North Norfolk coast, the Lavender Fields and Blakeney Point are less than half an hour drive, including the market towns of Fakenham and Swaffham. The cathedral city of Norwich is less than a 45 minutes drive, and the historic port of Kings Lynn is only 20 minutes.
